Working at home - in perspective
One week down of our COVID 19 Closure and I'm sure like many of us you are doing the best you can with the social distancing and keeping busy at home. One thing we want more than anything else is that people do not feel extra stress from the school at a time that is stressful enough for families. I came across a post from another school principal which I feel is worth sharing with you because it reflects alot of thoughts that I have had regarding what is expected of us as schools and us as parents at this time. For primary school children, this unusual closure is, over the course of fourteen years education, a blip! For Leaving Certs, final year college students, it is a more stressful time, but our children are in Primary school and we need to keep that in perspective. We will keep informing you of resources and interesting things you can do at home, but they are suggestions and help. Do what you can and what suits. Have a read of this post and hopefully it will help! Stay safe all!
